This is a vintage pre-war Lionel #262 O-gauge steam locomotive body shell. This 2-6-2 tinplate engine was a workhorse of the Lionel line in the 1930s. This example is in black with copper-finish piping and red-spoked driving wheels. It features the "262 LIONEL LINES" number plate. This is the SHELL AND ATTACHED WHEELS/RODS ONLY. The motor and frame are being sold separately. Sold as-is for parts or restoration.
