Model: Sound powered headset with balanced armature D173014 - Western Electric Company Inc. The "Navy-type headset" D173014 as produced during WWII. Each headset has a capsule D173012 for 600 ohm impedance. Sound powered headset with balanced armature are very sensitive. An alternate view of a pair of antique radio headphones, showing the Bakelite earpieces and the dual steel headband structure. The braided cloth cord is wrapped neatly.
